Gavin runs’s the south west renowned Dark Knights outfit. Devon based techno heads, Dark Knights has run events for 12 solid years and proud to speak about the journey so far.

For the original part, the early 7 years Dark Knights was and still is renowned for the outdoor dance floor, terrace based events. Thumping beats city central was where it was at – up until the noise police came about and stopped these magical nights from happening outdoors anymore.
But with this came the indoor opportunity and the Exeter Phoenix has been the venue of choice since diversifying and trying out other city haunts. Dark Knights has gone full circle and home is heart felt at the Phoenix as here is where Dark Knights continues to bring you high quality electronic music from around the world.
Gavin and Dark Knights history has seen global stardom grace the decks side by side, to name drop a few: Slam, Rebekah, Alan Fitzpatrick, Phutek, D.A.V.E. The Drummer, Mach One, MC/DJ Ribbz and Rowland the Bastard – all have shared deck space and love of techno.

The outlook for things to come, Dark Knights continues it’s year on year residency at Move nightclub in Exeter with some banging events to come. With his bone-fide membership sealed amongst the south west names alike and continued residency for Love Summer and Yarty Party festivals. Gavin continues to stick to his favourite sound wherever he goes.
