Ad the Lad

Ad the Lad has been into electronic music since the late 80’s, He is pretty open minded about all Dance music. His favourite style is always somewhere between Techno and House, as long as it’s got the vibe, the energy and is produced well – it’s in the bag! until recent times he has been old school and has he’s  format, Its generally 1210’s all the way “Black plastic is fantastic!” But he has now shed his dinosaur attitude and has finally gone digital !

Ad has been promoting nights and playing out on and off since 92, I’m pretty sure he must be entitled to some sort of loyalty card now!?  He loves  the electronic music scene down here in the south west as it’s as close to the good old days as you can get, in a field/cave/beach surrounded by a rig and a bunch of egoless upforit Nutters!! keepin it real.

Ad used to run a record / skate shop in St Austell called purple planet as well as promoting his own night at 2XS in St Austell ( yes St Austell has a night club ! ) as well has holding down regular sets at Transmission and many random phase 2s.. Recently he has joined the New collective that is Orbital Gathering and their ever growing ( old and Big lol ) list or Artists and Djs
